Enhanced Load Bearing Capacity

High-pressure grouting forms a columnar mass by mixing existing soil with high-strength concrete. This process increases the shear strength of the soil, resulting in a composite bearing capacity greater than the original. The Jumbo Special Pile (JSP) helps transfer structural loads to a stable soil layer, allowing the use of shallow foundations instead of deep ones.

Settlement Prevention

For structures built on loose or soft soils, ongoing or potential settlement can be halted through foundation underpinning. This involves jet grouting from a competent layer up to the bottom of the footing. Our equipment is designed for use in tight spaces with low headroom, making it ideal for challenging site conditions.

Minimal Disruption

Drilling into the ground or existing slabs or footings is minimally invasive, requiring only a 2-inch diameter hole for the drilling rod. The drilling and jet grouting process is vibration-free and produces minimal noise, reducing disturbances.

Increased Pile Capacity

Jet grouting can improve the skin friction of an existing pile with inadequate capacity. The undulated surface created by jet grouting around the pile’s circumference enhances its skin friction, thereby increasing its overall capacity.
